The European Championships
Glasgow is proud to be the host city of the 2018 European Championships- celebrating European cycling, rowing, gymnastics, aquatics, golf and triathlon between August 2 and 12th.
The Championships will bring together Europe’s best athletes in their respective sports. The 10-day championships are sure to be a real crowd-pleaser and would make the perfect day out for the whole family.
Venues are spread across the city and will include the iconic SSE Hydro, which is located only a short walk from Fraser Suites, passing the breath-taking river Clyde and some of Glasgow’s stunning bridges.
Glasgow Summer Sessions
Fresh from success from previous years, Glasgow Summer Sessions is back this year, and better than ever! With some of the biggest acts in the world including Catfish and the Bottlemen, Kings of Leon, Kendrick Lamar, The Hunna, N.E.R.D., Bugzy Malone and Twin Atlantic.
Taking place in the stunning Bellahouston Park between August 22-29, these concerts give a one-time-only chance to see some of the worlds biggest artists and make the perfect summer day out, with food and refreshments available on site. Merchant City Festival
Merchant City is located in the heart of Glasgow, and is home to a nostalgic mix of cafes, shops, clubs, restaurants and cabaret. Between August 2 and 12 Glasgow will be transformed in to the city’s biggest party- with music, theatre, comedy, visual and creative art, performance art, dance, fashion and events for younger attendees and families- this festival is one of the biggest in the Glasgow calendar and is not to be missed.

PAW Patrol Live

This is sure to impress the little ones and will take place on the 4th and 5th of August in the SEC Armadillo, only a short walk from your serviced accommodation and city centre.
