Hampden Park - Glasgow's favourite stadium

Hampden Park, the national football stadium, is one of the most popular venues in the city. Home to exciting football matches and a number of big concerts throughout the year, it provides one of the most exciting atmospheres for anyone travelling to Glasgow. If you’re going to be visiting Glasgow to watch a football game or see the likes of Coldplay, Rihanna, U2 or Bruce Springsteen, you’ll be looking for accommodation in the city that is stylish, affordable and has everything you’d ever need from a room.

Fraser Suites Glasgow has 98 rooms located right in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. Our recently refurbished residences sit in historic Merchant City, placing our guests in Glasgow’s top area for nightlife, dining and boutique shopping. We’re also incredibly close to all major transport links in and out of the city, particularly when it involves commuting towards Hampden Park.

The stadium sits in the south side of the city in the relatively quaint suburb of Mount Florida. In many cases our guests takes private transport to the area; be it taxi or Uber. This has an average journey time of 15 minutes via the A728. For those using public transport, there are multiple bus routes (the 5, 6 and 75) which all go directly south from the city centre. The quickest public route is by train from Glasgow Central Station. This direct rail link to Mount Florida station takes roughly 10 minutes, with a short walk to the stadium.

If you’re part of a couple and looking for accommodation during your stay, we recommend you check out our Studio Apartments, which come with a kitchenette and integrated living areas.  Small groups of up to 4 would be best suited to our Two Bedroom Apartments which provide greater space than you’d get in a traditional hotel with more amenities too.
